Professional Film & Television Training
Professional Film and Television Training at Chattanooga State is a curriculum developed with the Chattanooga Film Commission and designed to train persons for specific technical and craft jobs in the film and television industry. Throughout the southeastern United States, film production activity is at an all time high as producers continue to flee Hollywood in search of lower costs, fresh backdrops and lucrative state incentive packages. The opportunities for behind-the-scenes professionals on movies, television programs, corporate videos and other productions in this region have never been greater. These courses are open to anyone interested in pursuing a career in film and television production on a full or part-time basis. Upon successful completion of specific courses, students emerge with the skills necessary to pursue professional opportunities in this market or elsewhere in the region.
